  • Baking soda fresher

What I love to do instead of buying chemical laced powders from the store, is this...
I take a glass jar with a cup or so of baking soda, add in 20 drops of what every essential oil I would like the room to smell like (I use a lavender/mint mix a lot) and give it a shake. I let it sit 24 hours, shaking it every time I pass by the jar. The next day I sprinkle it all over and let it sit for 10+ minutes, then vacuum

does it remove harmful bacterias from carpets?
after how many days you use it again? me too do not want to buy chemicals from stores as they are harmful for health and my hands are very sensitive for any allergic products.

doesn't kill like chemicals, it absorb it. another option is to use enzymes, when activated with hot to medium water the enzymes will eat the bacteria. enzymes work more effectively and efficiently and cost effective for large commercial jobs

YES! It does. It actually kills a lot depending on the oils you use. Tea tree oil is great for killing a lot of different insects and parasites as well as bacteria.

I feel like it does the job for us. I mean, We have tested our home several times and have found no traces of bad bacteria in our carpets. It also keeps insects away as well.

Enyzmes will remove the bacteria, although its a natural fighting bacteria agent in itself, but when you clean the carpets will remove them all. Some chemicals especially high pH chemicals for example trashed prespray from magic wand, does leave some residue after use, After you prespray always use a rinse chemical in your water, pixie powder has a low pH and will remove all residue and including low pH stains for example \coffee stains.
carpet cleaning rinse removes residue during cleaning
